Daily Update

I found an interesting bit of information in the First Magazine (usually in the checkout lane of the grocery store) about the benefits of walking, and I thought that I would share them with everyone. I knew walking was good for you, but wow it can make a bit difference. The article was sometime in mid-April if I remember correctly. I also have it posted on my fridge to keep me inspired.

Not bad for a daily stroll, ehh?

Well as promised, I have been good today, but boy did I want to be lazy this morning. So here are the stats:

Thursday
  • Treadmill
  • 3.51 miles
  • 59 minutes
  • 521 calories

    Good job with your walking program - I think they have also done studies that say walking is especially great for you because it is easy to do consistently. Congrats! :)

  4. I believe those stats! When I was walking regularly everything seemed to improve. It wasn't just about the few pounds I dropped. I really was in a better mood, sleeping better, had much more energy, etc. I really really REALLY have to get back to walking regularly because I need all those feelings back AND I need these pounds gone! Getting started is the hardest part. It was then and it is now.
